Think Before You Park!

We have recently received complaints about cars parking dangerously outside the school.

Please remember that the yellow zigzag markings outside school entrances must be kept clear. These markings indicate areas where motorists must not stop, wait, or park, as they allow children and other road users to see clearly when crossing the road.

Parking or stopping on zigzags or pavements creates a significant safety risk, particularly during busy drop-off and pick-up times.

Please also be aware that **Operation Snap** is active across the West Midlands. Dangerous parking outside schools, including pavement parking and stopping on zigzags, is being targeted by police and local councils using CCTV and Operation Snap. This can result in fines of £100 or more, penalty points, or prosecution.

Parking restrictions outside schools are in place to keep everyone safe. We ask all parents and carers to park considerately and follow the road markings when dropping off and collecting children.
