School Dinners

Aspens provide the meal service at Mount Nod Primary School. All of the dishes are prepared every day using quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients that are responsibly sourced. They are created and served by Sue and Cheryl, our experienced and enthusiastic staff, who ensure the food on the plate is healthy and tasty.

Please see the new three-week school meal menu for this term and discuss this with your child. If you would like your child to join us for school meals, please let the school office know. The cost is currently £2.70 per day.

Payment and ordering is done through SwiftKitchen. To do this, an account is needed via the app or at http://app.swiftkitchen.co.uk. The school will then give you a SwiftKitchen unique key which will allow you to order and pay online.

Lunchtime and School Meals

All children have their lunchtime between 11:55 and 1.20pm.

Reception 11:55-12:55pm   Year 1/2/5/6 12:10-12:55   Year 3/4 12:35-12:20pm

Children have the option to bring in a packed lunch or order a cooked meal via SwiftKitchen.

Free School Meals

All children in Foundation and KS1 are entitled to a school meal free of charge.

Additionally, free school meals for other children are available to some families according to family income. It is important to register for entitlement to free school meals, even if your child has a packed lunch or receives a free meal through the universal free meals – this is so we can receive additional funding (Pupil Premium) which we can use to help your child in school.
